Today’s gift guide is one I created for women and I really hope it helps you find something special for a loved one on your list!
And just in case you are catching up, here are the additional gift guides I’ve shared so far this year:
Happy Holidays, my friends!!
Gift Guide for Her

A Plant from The Sill or Flower Delivery Subscription
On year for Christmas, Ryan gave me a year-long flower delivery subscription from Bouqs and every month for a full year, he’d customize the note that would come with a seasonally appropriate bouquet of flowers. It was the gift that kept on giving and something I looked forward to all year long! I think this, or one of the stunning potted plants from The Sill, would make a wonderful gift for just about any woman out there, especially those who are particularly hard to shop for or those who insist they don’t need anything.
The plants from The Sill arrive in beautiful pots and, as someone who tends to kill any plant that comes into my house, I love the concept of the Tough Cookie duo, a pairing of two of The Sill’s most resilient plants. If you’d like something a little more festive, the Nofolk Island Pine Tree or Holiday Cactus are two lovely holiday plants to send to a loved one.
Okay, okay, so 2020 is maybe not the best year to give a packing-related gift, but packing cubes blew my mind a month or so ago and I just had to include them in my gift guide this year. Though I purchased my packing cubes with the thought that they’d help me organize my children’s clothes and, therefore, obviously think they’d make a great gift for moms out there, I also appreciate the fact that they keep anything organized during travels, whether it be kid clothes or simply organizing socks, underwear, accessories, toiletries, etc. I opted for this affordable set from Amazon, but this set from Nordstrom is beautiful and still not crazy expensive.

Custom Embroidery Gift (Family Portrait, Pet Portrait, etc.)
Confession: An embroidered family portrait was on my wish list this year but then I took it back because I’m crazy and want to wait until Rhett is a little older and we know what his hair color will look like as a toddler before committing to a custom family portrait. Crazy, I know, but I think the embroidered family portraits are so beautiful and want to keep it for alllll the days! Anyway, I clearly think this would make an amazing gift for anyone out there and have visions of grandmothers loving an embroidered portrait of all of their grandkids. Just perusing Etsy had me saving so many different options to keep in mind for the future! I also love the pet embroidery gifts, whether it be a framed portrait or an ornament. So darn cute… and meaningful!

Favorite Candle + USB Electric Lighter
You knew this USB electric lighter was going to make this year’s gift guide, didn’t you? While a candle purchased from a local shop is always a lovely gift, pairing it with this handy little rechargeable lighter ups the ante a bit and takes it from a gift you’ll use and then toss out to one you’ll keep forever.
During a time when we’re relying on our computers more than ever for everything from work to connection with family and friends, a beautiful leather laptop sleeve is the kind of gift that feels luxurious and thoughtful but also strikes me as something someone is not likely to splurge on for themselves. Aren’t those kind of gifts the best!? Etsy has some gorgeous options and I love this one with a very subtle monogram. And this one from Madewell is beautiful as well and 30% off with the code JOLLYGOOD.
Is it just me or are doormats having a moment this year? I especially love this gift idea for a newlywed couple or someone who may have recently moved into a new home. Here are a few of my favorite options: Simple Script Last Name / Welcome + Family Name (only $23!) / Grandparent-Themed Doormats
I am such a sucker for the look of stacking rings. They’re delicate and feminine but still feel a little fun and trendy at the same time. Plus, with options that incorporate children’s names, birthstones, dates/roman numerals and different bands, they’re easy to customize so you can pick rings that fit the style of someone you care about without too much trouble. I also love the idea of this dainty gold band set with the number of diamonds that corresponds to the number of children a mother or grandmother has so it symbolizes some of the people she loves the most. Bonus: Pair it with a beautiful jewelry dish! Some favorite stacking rings: Dainty Personalized Ring / Minimalist Birthstone Ring / Set of 5 Gold Rings / 14k Gold Delicate Band / Open Diamond Ring

Cozy Clothes
Since it feels like basically nobody is out shopping for fancy clothes right now, why not gift a loved one with some extra cozy clothes, pajamas or athleisurewear? Some of my personal favorites: Barefoot Dreams Socks (Chase got me two pairs for Christmas last year and I’m not lying when I say they were one of my very favorite gifts! I’m convinced a warmer + comfier sock does not exist.) / Gap Softspun Joggers / lululemon Align Leggings / Beyond Yoga Midi High Waist Leggings (a recent discovery of mine and I am in love with this comfy yet flattering fabric!) / UGG Robe (I received this as a Christmas gift from my mom and it’s incredibly warm and cozy) / Madewell Easygoing Sweatpants / Barefoot Dreams Cardigan (I wear mine constantly this time of year because it feels like a robe but looks a little more pulled together when lounging around the house) / Target’s Stars Above Pajama Sets (love this $30 set, these thermal jammies and I have and love this super-soft lounge top) / Old Navy Sweats (I have these and call them my “good old fashioned baggy sweats” but they’re somehow cute! + Fleece Pullover (I ordered this on Black Friday and it’s perfectly oversized and so comfy) / Aerie Waffle Joggers

Food Delivery (Blue Apron, Daily Harvest, etc.)
Years ago, Ryan and I gave his grandmother four weeks of Blue Apron deliveries because we knew she loved to cook and thought she would enjoy trying some new recipes from time to time. We love their meals and figured she would as well! It’s easy to choose your meals on the Blue Apron website or through their app (we love their vegetarian and seafood meals the most!) and anything that makes preparing a meal at home feel a little more special during these crazy times feels like a big time win to me these days!
If cooking isn’t something your loved one enjoys, there are also a lot of other food delivery services out there that involve simple reheating and eating or blending up something yummy without any prep work at all. You guys know I’ve loved Daily Harvest smoothies, harvest bowls and flatbreads for years and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to gift something to someone who loves healthy, nourishing food but doesn’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. My affiliate link + the code pbfingers will get you $25 off your first delivery!
